Operations under urbanization |

The operations in progress fit within the framework of the implementation of the development plan of the North-eastern zone:
The North-eastern zone of the lake banks covers approximately 800ha. It is located in a junction position between the centre of Tunis and northern suburbs; it then represents a strategic stake in regard to space organization policy of the capital which deals with: - reduction of the load which weighs on Tunis because of hyper concentration of the tertiary functions (trade and offices) by the creation of a sufficiently structured centre so that it plays an alternative role in the operation of the agglomeration,
- structuring of the Northern littoral threatened by the undifferentiated and without character urbanization, result of the juxtaposition of allotments.
- improvement of the natural environment by the transformation of the existing forest by the construction of a golf course and sporting academies for various disciplines.
The implementation of the Detailed Master plan of the Northern East zone, is approved by decree of the Governor of Tunis on July 02nd, 1998 and which is currently the object of revision, is concretized by the progressive realization of the following allotment projects:
