In view of the last updates of the general development program (currently in the course of approval for what it relates to the detailed development plan of the Northern east zone of the lake banks),approximately 11.7 million m² of S.H.O. floors are planned to be constructed on the banks of the northern lake of Tunis totalizing 1300ha and to be distributed as follows:
- 5.85 million m² of floors for the lodgings (33.500 lodgings )
- 5.85 million m² of floors for the offices, the zones of activities and services and for the public and sporting equipment.
The estimated population is about 149.000 inhabitants and 140.000 employment. The lands assigned to the parks apart from the private gardens will represent nearly 25 % (a ratio of about 22m² of park per capita).

The concretization of this development program will be materialized by the implementation of the 3 projected urban zones on the whole of the lake perimeter.
